Drug Treatment and Testing Order (DTTO)

Description:

A DTTO is a disposal which focuses on drug treatment as the primary means of reducing offending behaviour. Orders last between 6 months and 3 years and combine drug treatment and a testing regime with regular court reviews, in addition to supervision.

Further Information:

Senior Addiction Nurse will be collocated with Justice Social Work 2 days per week.

The Addiction nurse will contribute to the assessment of prospective clients. Will undertake oral testing in line with testing regimes and undertake DTTO therapeutic work. The DTTO nurse will also contribute to the Review Court Reports compiled by the Supervising Justice Social Worker.
