Available to all services users. Lighter duties option available for those with additional needs or disability. Links to employability to support individuals back into training, volunteering or employment (used as other activity).
Possible Outcomes
Promote reengagement with local community and provide a visible means of paying back to the community which raises public confidence in the benefits of this intervention.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
Criminal Justice Social Work Report interview and at Initial assessment carried out by Qualified Social Worker at Criminal Justice Social Work Report stage. Level 1 Orders may be imposed by Court without the request for a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
During Initial Risk Assessment interview the Unpaid Work Case Manager will carry out a full assessment to consider suitability of placement and ‘other activity’ input.
Throughout the Order the assessment process is ongoing to meet the changing needs of the individual.
