Where the order contains a drug treatment requirement an individual must submit to treatment by or under the direction of a specified person with a view to reducing or eliminating the offender’s dependency on, or propensity to misuse, drugs.

Dundee CJS employs a dedicated team of substance misuse workers , seconded from the Dundee Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (DDARS). These workers are located within the Dundee CJS base of Friarfield House and are therefore co-located to enhance joint assessment and work.
