Aim/Purpose:

Our aim is to improve life chances, self-confidence and self-esteem for people aged 13 to 25 years by offering tailored support plans and group activities. Our youth team can help improve a wide variety of life skills, engagement with other services, and can provide group work. Our staff work one-to-one with clients but have access to groups and other activities as a person improves.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • Adolescent (17 and under), Young adult (18-35)

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

Independent Living Support is proud to deliver our youth development services across Dumfries and Stranraer. ILS Youth engages young people from many backgrounds and who usually have multiple challenges. Our staff work one-to-one and with groups across the region providing partnership working alongside our youth projects.
