Available and delivered collaboratively with NHS specialist addiction team. The Drug Treatment and Testing Order can be imposed for a duration of six months to three years depending upon presenting need at DTTO assessment stage.

Possible Outcomes

Order is completed. Drug use decreases or ceases, and individuals enter recovery. Links are made with support services and peer support groups if required.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

A specific Drug Treatment and Testing Order assessment is requested by the Court; assessment undertaken with colleagues from drug services.
