Aim/Purpose:
Carr Gomm’s Housing Support Service helps prevent homelessness by assisting individuals in securing and maintaining accommodation. We provide person-centred support, including housing assistance, financial management, daily life skills, health and well-being, and community engagement. Our team helps individuals apply for social housing, manage bills, access financial support, and develop budgeting skills. Beyond housing, we assist with employment searches, digital inclusion, and meaningful activities, empowering individuals to build independent lives. Emotional well-being support and signposting to specialist services are also available. We collaborate with local agencies to provide a strong support network that promotes long-term stability. Support is flexible—available at home, in our offices, virtually, or via telephone. Individuals can access support for six months to two years, with regular reviews. Additionally, drop-in services are available for those needing further assistance.

Self-referrals and agency referrals are accepted. Direct access is available through drop-in sessions or by contacting our Housing Support Coordinator, who assigns cases based on individual needs.
