Where the order contains a mental health treatment requirement an individual must submit to treatment by or under the direction of a registered medical practitioner or a registered psychologist (or both) with a view to improving the offender’s mental condition.

The Supervising Officer will encourage engagement with the mental health team, regularly liaise with mental health specialists and undertake ongoing reviews to determine the effectiveness of their treatment and attitude to their order.
