The fourth Community Justice Outcome Activity Across Scotland report, covering the period 2020-21, has been drafted and we would now like to seek your views. Both the report and the consultation process are requirements of the Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016.
The draft report aims to provide an overview of reported progress made by community justice partners towards the national outcomes for community justice. It also makes recommendations for consideration by community justice partners. It has been based upon returns submitted by local community justice partners to Community Justice Scotland (CJS) and an analysis of other data, policy developments and community justice publications (for example the Recover Renew Transform (RRT) programme).
This year we present the report with some new additions including an analysis of some cross-cutting issues, a progress update on 2019-20 recommendations and shorter practice examples which share the different approaches local areas take towards their work.
Please use the consultation feedback template to help shape your response and aid our analysis of the feedback.
Your comments should be either sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, or to the generic CJS email account email@example.com. Please submit your feedback by 5pm Friday 21st January 2022.
All feedback received will be considered and the final report will be prepared in early March and laid in Parliament by 31st March 2022. Please be aware that the final report content will remain under embargo until that date. We look forward to hearing from you.
