Lynne’s Role
Lynne’s role involves identifying and supporting activity to improve community justice outcomes locally and nationally within the context of the National Strategy for Community Justice.
Background
Lynne has a Law Degree and a BSc in Criminal Justice. She spent 12 years working as a Probation Officer and Probation Operations Manager across multi-agency settings in London. This included community, hostel, court and custodial focuses and spanned public and private delivery. Lynne subsequently took up a senior leadership role with the remit of increasing quality and performance across London and Thames Valley private probation delivery where she advocated a quality-led agenda.
Following her return to Scotland in 2019 Lynne supported the community justice agenda in her role as a Local Community Justice Co-ordinator before subsequently joining CJS in 2021.
Lynne has a particular passion for supporting effective collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes for individuals. Key areas of interest include quality of relationships and interventions, lived experience/peer led focuses and prison throughcare support.
