South Lanarkshire delivers the Caledonian programme in partnership with Women’s Aid and CIRCLE. Social Workers assess and deliver individual and group work programmes to men convicted of domestic abuse offences against women. The programme involves supporting men to reduce their involvement in offending and improving the safety of women and children who have been impacted by men’s behaviours.
Possible Outcomes
Reduction in frequency and severity of offending and improved safety for women and children affected by domestic abuse.

Social work assessment as part of a court report.
