Can be a Licence or order intervention, delivered locally by Borders Addiction Service (NHS).
Third sector voluntary support includes A.A and Wearewithyou (third sector).
Possible Outcomes
Statutory requirement intended to improve life chances, personal resilience and self-management. Focus is on alcohol use.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
Identified need via assessment: Criminal Justice Court Report, GP and or other medical service.
Service user self-reporting.
Court Request.
Where no specific scheme/intervention is available, is there capacity to provide a bespoke service based on judicial request?
Alcohol Brief Screening and low level advice and guidance offered by Social Work.
