Interventions suitable for
In accordance with Scottish government National Guidance (2019), i.e. Priority should be given to vulnerable people such as those with mental health problems, women accused, single parents, people with carer responsibilities, people with substance misuse issues and young people aged between 16 and 21.

A bail supervision service in accordance with Scottish government (SG) National Guidance (2019) is available to Inverness, Tain and Wick courts and can be accessed through the Criminal Justice Social Work court officer.
Increase compliance with Bail, reduce remands, encourage confidence in use of non-custodial sentences, provide appropriate support to individuals in the community, which minimises disruption to families, employment and housing, while ensuring compliance with bail.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
A sheriff or defence agent can request an assessment from the Criminal Justice Social Work court officer; a written report should be provided to the court using the agreed pro-forma in the National Guidance.
