Next Steps Pre-employability in Clackmannanshire (PEC)

Launching in January 2022, the PEC project will aim to tackle the multiple barriers that people face before steps into work are possible. It is operated by a consortia of third sector organisations and will be open to any person with a criminal record or at risk. This can be used as a diversionary activity.

Provides one-to-one Key Worker support to local people aged 16 to 67 to help address barriers to employment including criminal convictions.
Support is personalised and tailored to meet individual needs and can include confidence building, IT skills, money advice, job search skills (job applications, CVs, interview techniques), access to volunteering and work taster opportunities, industry specific training, help with travel and childcare costs, clothes for interview/starting work.

The TIER Pathway is a Resilience Learning Partnership initiative for people 18+ with lived experience of trauma.
TIER Lite is a 5-week Pathway and TIER is a 24 week Pathway both coproduced with participants, running one day per week, in Alloa.

The aim is to support participants to explore and realise their goals and aspirations whether that be college, university, paid employment, voluntary work or further engagement with RLP and TIER.

THRIVE to Keep Well – NHS/Multi-partnership

The 16 week programme is designed to help participants to improve their knowledge and management of stress, anxiety, confidence and self-development skills, also motivational goal setting skills to enable health behaviour change. There is also a NHS keep well assessment as part of the course.
