Bail supervision currently available throughout Argyll and Bute.
This would include monitoring of bail conditions and an action plan to address areas of assessed risks and needs.
Regular progress reports would be made available to the court.
A reduction in the use of remand with particular focus on vulnerable groups such as those with mental health problems, women, single parents, people with carer responsibilities, people with substance misuse issues and young people aged between 16 and 21.
Early intervention and continued access or supported referrals to community support services that may not be available in custody will be provided via a robust structured action plan delivered by a justice worker.
Monitoring of bail restrictions and action on breach will be provided.
Minimisation of disruption to families, employment and housing.
Encourage greater confidence in the use of non-custodial disposals by sentencers as a result of the experience of successful completion of periods on bail supervision.

Courts will also be supplied with regular bail supervision progress reports.
